These answers are for Spark Lite - private live teaching, studio plans, and subscription billing. For curated courses and revenue share, use the Spark tab and the pricing section above.
Enrolled students get one portal link. They sign in with Google or email and see what their plan unlocks: upcoming live sessions, one-click join links, recordings, and replays. Schedules respect time zones. The same portal can also show Spark courses if you run both products.
Subscriptions for group classes, workshops, 1:1, recordings, and bundles move through states: Upcoming, Active, Expiring, and Expired. Students get renewal reminders, access updates automatically, and you can see who is active, expiring, or lapsed. You can pause or extend a subscription when needed. Billing follows Spark Lite active-student rules, not Spark course revenue share.
Spark Lite supports paid subscriptions, one-time payments, fixed-duration programs, donation-based plans, private invite-only plans, and tiered plans. Each plan ties to what it unlocks (a class series, workshop, 1:1 block, recording bundle, and so on). Country-wise pricing on plans works the same way as for courses: students see the right price for their location at checkout.
Yes. Payment links let you send checkout for a specific plan when you need a one-off sale outside the usual flow. Payment reminders nudge students before renewals or when a plan is expiring. For course launches, many experts use segments and discount codes in the student portal instead of manual links.
Yes. Build segments (for example new enrollees this month, a workshop cohort, or lapsed members) and restrict discount codes to those groups. Use segments for targeted messages and renewal offers on live plans.
